D-Day +5: Göttingen

Yet another sightseeing tour in Göttingen. We started from the center and went through Albanifriedhof.

Carl Friedrich Gauss

A visit to the botanical garden

Also passing back to the center of Göttingen we got to witness the ceremony where the people who got their doctorate had to go and kiss the Gänseliesel (Goose girl). She's supposed to be the most kissed girl in the whole World.

It was also the beginning of "Schützenfest" so there were a lot of these "Marksmen" (is there a better translation?) marching around. As Mr. T explained it to me: "People who shoot and drink Jägermeister".

As normal, the day ended up with some good German beer...
