D-Day +1: Hamburg

We started the tour from the center and moved closer to the Elbe

We also walked to the other side of the Elbe by using the old tunnel.

The Alter Elbetunnel
The harbor from the other side

After we also did a visit to the Finnish Seamen's Church where they had a little shop with Finnish products so we decided to stop for a nice and refreshing cider. After this we returned back to the harbor and took a ferry.

St. Michaelis

Strange looking buildings along the Elbe.

After this we headed to Blankenese and went to a beach to enjoy a bit of Sun.

Not for everyone...

Big ass ships going along the Elbe.

Later in the evening in the evening we went to "Planten un Blomen", a park in the center where they had a show with water, lights & music. Sadly I didn't get any picture of this but here you can see a clip of it. After the show we went for a beer and that was more or less the day.
